Amo Eno

Technology, social media, design and wine intertwine at the Amo Eno Wine Bar & Shop in the International Financial Centre Mall of Hong Kong's vibrant Central District.¨

Bruce Mau Design, alongside PARC Office, worked closely with Amo Eno founders Andrew and Brook Bradbury to craft the Amo Eno experience. Combining brand, architectural and digital design, BMD developed the visual identity, print, packaging, and online and in-store digital media and interactive components. Furthermore, BMD collaborated with PARC Office, led by its founder and CEO Will Prince, on the interior design.  

The meaning of amo eno (Latin for "love wine") inspired the design of the identity.  Illuminated dots form two intersecting wine bottles which together depict a heart. When animated, these dots brighten and oscillate, reflecting the vibrancy of Hong Kong and the energy of the flux of bottles being added and drawn from a wine rack.  

BMD's creative aim was to develop a place that allows people to first and foremost deepen their own love of wine. We feel that the branding, the store design, and the interactive and social media elements—combined with the curated mix of products—allow for many different entry points into the world of fine wines.
